Four Slot USB Cradle

This section describes how to use a Four Slot USB cradle with the mobile computer. For cradle communication setup procedures refer

to the MC50 Integrator Guide.

The Four Slot USB cradle:

• Provides 5.4 VDC power for operating the mobile computer.

• Enables data communication between the mobile computer (up to four) and a host computer, using a USB connection.

• Synchronizes information between the mobile computer and a host computer. (With customized or third party software, it

can also synchronize the mobile computer with corporate databases.)

• Simultaneously charges up to four batteries in the mobile computer.

Charging

Insert the mobile computer into a slot to begin charging.

Battery Charging Indicators

The mobile computer’s charge LED shows the status of the battery charging in the mobile computer. See Table 1-2 on page 1-7 for

charging status indications.

The standard battery fully charges in approximately 2.5 hours and the extended capacity battery fully charges in approximately five

hours.
