Configuring the AP

140 AP-4131 Access Point Product Reference Guide

Use the TAB key to scroll through menu items.

To update the AP firmware:

1. Copy the Firmware files dsap3_fw.bin and dsapt3htm.bin on the

terminal or PC hard disk.

2. Telnet to the AP using its IP address.

3. At the prompt type the password:

Symbol

The password is case-sensitive. Set the System Passwords in the Set System

Configuration screen.

The AP displays the Main Menu.

Enter Admin Mode

4. Select Enter Admin Mode and enter the password:
